Ol Pejeta is a private conservancy on the Laikipia plateau, about 3 to 4 hours north of Nairobi via Nanyuki. It holds one of East Africa's largest black rhino populations, the world's last two northern white rhinos, and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. As a conservancy it allows activities national parks do not, such as guided walks and night drives, booked at extra cost.
