Kenya park fees in 2026: the Maasai Mara costs USD 100 per non-resident adult per day January to June and USD 200 July to December. Amboseli and Lake Nakuru cost USD 90. Tsavo and Nairobi National Park cost USD 80. Rates are per person per day, set by KWS and Narok County. Checked 2 October 2026.

KWS rates follow the Wildlife Conservation and Management (Access, Entry and Conservation) (Fees) Regulations 2025, in force from 1 October 2025. African citizens pay USD 50 at Amboseli and Lake Nakuru and USD 40 at Tsavo and Nairobi National Park. Vehicle entry is charged on top. Fees are set by the authorities and can change. We quote the rate in force on your travel dates.

How to pay
KWS parks, including Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Tsavo and Nairobi National Park, are paid online through the KWS eCitizen portal by card or M-Pesa. KWS gates do not take cash. The Maasai Mara is paid through the Narok County e-ticketing system, and the Mara Triangle through the Mara Conservancy. On a package with fees included, we handle every gate payment for you.

Park fee questions
How much is the Maasai Mara entry fee in 2026?
USD 100 per non-resident adult per day from January to June and USD 200 per day from July to December. Non-resident children aged 9 to 17 pay USD 50 and children 8 and under enter free. Kenyan adults pay KES 3,000.
How much is the Amboseli entry fee?
USD 90 per non-resident adult per day and USD 45 per child under the KWS schedule in force from 1 October 2025. East African citizens pay KES 1,500 and residents KES 2,025.
How do I pay Kenya park fees?
KWS parks are paid online through eCitizen by card or M-Pesa. The Maasai Mara is paid through the Narok County system. Cash is not taken at KWS gates. When park fees are in your package, we pay them for you.
Do children pay park fees in Kenya?
Yes, at the child rate. In the Mara, children 8 and under enter free. In KWS parks the child rate covers ages 5 to 17.
Is there a combined Amboseli and Tsavo ticket?
Yes. KWS sells Tsavo West and Amboseli for USD 150, and Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli for USD 215, per non-resident adult.
