Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1: Wilson Airport to the Maasai Mara Transfer from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA to Wilson Airport for the morning flight. Your guide meets the plane at the airstrip and you game drive to camp. Lunch, rest, then a game drive from 16:00 to sunset.
- Day 2: Full day in the Maasai Mara Out at 06:30. Picnic breakfast on the plains, a long loop for lion, cheetah and leopard, and a stop at the Mara River. Optional sunrise hot air balloon flight, priced on request.
- Day 3: Sunrise drive and flight to Nairobi Game drive from 06:30, breakfast, then a drive to the airstrip for the late morning flight. Back at Wilson Airport around midday, in time for an evening international departure from JKIA.

What you will see
Maasai Mara
Lion prides, cheetah on the open plain, leopard along the Talek and Mara rivers, elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. From July to October the wildebeest and zebra herds of the Great Migration graze the reserve.
Best time to go
Fly-in suits travellers who want the most Mara time for the days they have, and anyone catching a flight home the same evening. Bush flights take soft bags only, usually 15 kg per person including hand luggage. The airline confirms your allowance on the ticket.
