Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli Pickup at 07:00 from your Nairobi hotel, home or JKIA. About 4 to 4.5 hours south, 216 km, to Amboseli. Lunch at your lodge, then a game drive from 16:00 as Kilimanjaro clears in the evening light.
- Day 2: Full day in Amboseli Out at 06:00, when Kilimanjaro is most often clear of cloud. Elephants in the Enkongo Narok swamp, then Observation Hill for the view over the whole park. Lunch at the lodge and an afternoon drive.
- Day 3: Sunrise drive and back to Nairobi Game drive from 06:30, breakfast, depart. Arrive in Nairobi around 15:00.
