People ask for the Mara for predators and the open plain. Lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and rhino are all possible. None of them is guaranteed on a given morning.
The wildebeest migration is a seasonal movement. Herds use different parts of the reserve and the conservancies in different weeks. A booking in the migration months is a booking for those dates, not a booking for a river crossing.
The drive from Nairobi is a long day. Some quotes use a flight into a Mara airstrip instead. That flight is priced only when you ask for it.
