How we shape a wellness safari
- Fly, don't drive. The fly-in Mara safari trades a 5 to 6 hour road transfer for a 45-minute flight from Wilson Airport.
- Fewer moves. Two or three nights in each camp instead of a new bed every night.
- Time on foot. Guided bush walks in conservancies such as Ol Pejeta, where walking is permitted with an armed ranger.
- Morning and evening drives, free afternoons. Rest, read, swim or book a spa treatment at camp.
- End on the beach. Diani's reef-protected beach is a short flight from Nairobi.
